Off The Yard is the highlight hub of HBCU culture and impact.
For Black culture one of the central and distinct breeding grounds of our impact on the world is the HBCU campus, or better known as “The Yard”. Off the Yard is an evergreen hub that highlights the ongoing, and growing, developments from any and all HBCUs. We amplify everything from the innovations of the STEM programs to the grit and grind of students building companies, or even the way HBCU alumni have left “The Yard” to create some of the best cultural impressions.
Off the Yard concentrates on a thematic release that covers an array of content while framing multiple angles of the focal stories. We are designed under the guise that whether actively attending an HBCU or a graduate of one, the network is emboldened in excellence. It is our job to show it. The lifestyle, that we call culture, is in every fiber of our existence and is the fuel of mainstream.
